Privacy and data
Your travel notes. A clear account of their use.
The tools use the information you enter to show a requirements summary or keep track of your next step. This page explains the behaviour of this version.
Local tools · no account requiredWhat the tools use
The route worksheet uses countries, dates and data estimates. Optional device fields record a model variant, software version and lock or eSIM status. The iPhone checklist uses device and plan notes. The hotel guide uses the connection step you select.
Do not enter phone numbers, IMEI or EID identifiers, account passwords, booking references, payment details or activation QR codes. None is needed by these tools.
What stays in your browser
The site’s tool code keeps entries in the current page. It does not submit them, create an account, save them to cookies or browser storage, or synchronize them to a server. Reloading normally resets the controls; your browser may independently restore form fields from its session history or autofill.
Print opens your browser’s print dialog. You choose the printer or PDF destination. Download links retrieve blank checklists; they do not include your entries. Your browser, operating system or printer can keep the copies you create.
Fonts and site scripts are included locally. On public production pages, optional Google Analytics is delivered through Google Tag Manager only after you choose Accept analytics. Reject analytics is equally available, and Manage analytics lets you withdraw at any time. Preview and local hosts do not initialize analytics.
Optional page-view analytics
Only public route paths, their canonical URLs and static page titles are included in page-view events. Query strings, URL fragments, tool entries, email addresses and account identifiers are excluded. Advertising consent always stays denied. Google still receives ordinary request metadata, including your IP address and browser information, when analytics is accepted, and may create standard pseudonymous analytics cookies.
We save only a versioned granted or denied analytics preference in local browser storage, without a user identifier. If storage is blocked, the choice applies to this page only. Rejecting after acceptance saves denied, clears accessible Google Analytics cookies and reloads the page to stop loading Google Tag Manager. Withdrawal does not delete information previously collected by Google.
Website delivery and hosting
Loading a website sends ordinary requests to its hosting service, including request metadata such as an IP address and browser information. These requests are separate from the values entered into the tools.
This production candidate is prepared for Cloudflare. The production account’s log access, retention and operational settings still require the publisher’s review before public deployment. The local tool design does not establish that a hosting service keeps no logs.
External links and email
Official product and support links take you to another service. Its own privacy practices apply there. This site sets a no-referrer policy and does not append affiliate or campaign parameters to merchant links.
An email link opens your chosen mail application. If you send a message, your mail provider and the recipient’s provider process it. Send only the information needed for your question.
Awayrelay is the publication’s brand. The contact address supplied for it is info@awayrelay.com.
Publication details
This is the local production candidate’s data-handling statement, not a claim that the public service has been launched. The legal operator’s identity, applicable address and final hosting retention details must be added before deployment. Mailbox delivery has not been verified.
Adding saved accounts, a newsletter or other data services would require an updated explanation based on the behaviour actually implemented.
